Last updated: [date of approval]

This policy explains what information Selected Foods ("we") collects through selectedfoods.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you request an account, ask about products or contact us, we collect what you enter: your business name, type of business, the products you're interested in, your name, phone number, email address and your message.

Information collected automatically

Our website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies. To limit abuse of our forms, we keep a one-way, non-reversible code derived from your IP address for up to one hour.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your request, set up and manage your account, provide quotes, process orders and deliveries, and protect our website from spam. We do not sell your personal information.

How your request is handled

Requests are encrypted and stored securely until they are delivered to our team, then deleted from the website's systems. A request that cannot be delivered is kept encrypted for no more than 14 days and then deleted. We keep a short record that a request was received and delivered, without your name, contact details or message.

Embedded video

Our KHOU interview video loads only when you press play. Once it plays, KHOU's video player may set its own cookies, which are covered by KHOU's privacy policy.

When we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and email, when needed to fulfil your orders, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete the information you sent us through this website by calling (713) 863-0072 or emailing info@selectedfoods.com. Our website honors the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser.
